Beauty Shot

Last week I did a photo shoot with a friend I meet a few years ago. Sam is a fellow Sheridan student in her final year of broadcast and journalism. The make up artist for this shoot was Patricia Ward who also did a look on Sydney Marzi at the same time. These images are geared towards my advertising class on a mascara advertisement. It was a great pleasure to work with Sam and Sydney again.

In the past weeks I did a shoot with model Sydney Mariz and make up artisit Katie Blackwell. Both girls did a beautiful job at making this shoot a success. Katie had the idea to use balloons and creating a party atmosphere. From there I looked up different lighting concepts that would work well and planned out how to get a beautiful final shot. In the end all together we create beautiful images that I am very happy with.

Late Night Treat

This photo represents a few of my favourite things which includes reading, hot chocolate, baking and then eating the treats I bake. In this image i wanting the comfort feeling of being able to relax and enjoy a book and some sweet treats.

On location with Katie Findlay

Approximately just over a month ago Katie, myself and make up artist Kayleigh Shoesmith went to Cheltenham Badlands. The surrounding beauty is a lot to take in at once. The season was the perfect time as the leafs were changing colours and it complimenting the orange and blue colours in the dirt. Overall the shoot was a success and I would love to return. Huge thanks to both Katie and Kayleigh it would not have gone as well as it did without you.

Nicole Lynn Major

Nicole is a model based in Kingston, Ontario. She helped me out with my shoot a few weeks ago at an abandoned motel located just outside of Kingston. We had a great day of exploring the location and she did a fantastic job as being my model for the day.

These images are of Sam Morelli, I did a close up of her mouth using warm and cool colours. Overall this is one of my favourite shoot I love the outcome.

In The Garden

During the summer I explored my grandmothers flower garden with my camera and these images were some of the results. There are a more images on my that show a greater exploration.

Janelle Parent

This is my friend Janelle who has helped me out as being my model for my school assignment of creating a CD cover. Her long curly hair reminds me of Taylor Swift but of course she is far more beautiful. I played around with the lighting to create harsh shadows and light. 

Ferrero Rocher

At the centre lies a perfectly roasted hazelnut, surrounded by a luscious, smooth filling and a delicate crisp wafer, all enveloped in creamy milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts. If that does not make your mouth water for some chocolate hopefully my photo does.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Claire McLean, I'm from Kingston ON where I attended Holy Cross Secondary School and developed my interest in the arts. As the end of high school came around I found myself applying and striving to live in Oakville ON to study photography at Sheridan College. I've always had an interest in the Arts, Photography was just the one aspect I decided to explore and make into a career. Since being accepted into Sheridan I have developed as a photographer in way I did not expect. I am now in my third year or four and am excited to see what else I can do in this field.
